This is us

We are Inge and Erwin and have lived in beautiful Grönebach since 2009. We started with a bed and breakfast equipped with 4 double rooms, in 2012 we added 1 hiker’s hut with 4 beds.

In 2019 we expanded further into hospitality, then we converted our front garden for the teahouse. A year later, we added our schnitzel house.

We ourselves spend a lot of time walking or cycling in Sauerland. From our experience, we can give you beautiful and fun tips for young and old.

In our spare time, we also make longer trips, for example by bike from Tilburg to Santiago de Compostela (2800 km) and to Rome (2300 km). We also walked three times to Santiago de Compostela via the Route Primitivo in northern Spain, (320 km) the Route Portugues (628 km) and the Route France (800 km).

In summer, Erwin works mornings during the week at Erlebnisberg Kappe and then at the Kletterpark, managing the maintenance of the park there. That’s a climbing and scrambling forest for young and old. Quite a challenge to sit in the trees on a snowboard, or swing between the trees like Tarzan.

Inge is completely independent and keeps herself busy with our B&B, Tea House and Schnitzel House where she has help in the kitchen from Erwin on afternoons and weekends.

In winter, we have been ski instructors at Skischool Der Brabander, in Winterberg, a Dutch-speaking ski school for young and old, for many years.

We would like to pass on our enthusiasm about Sauerland to our guests.

We look forward to greeting you personally.

Inge and Erwin
